Bullet Honeycreeper is the common name for members of several unrelated groups of tropical birds that share tongue and bill adaptations for feeding on nectar.

The Green honeycreeper can be found in southern Mexico, Central America, Brazil, amd Bolivia.
 
Bullet Honeycreepers are generally small birds not exceeding 8 inches, with pointed, sometimes curved bills and bristle-edged tongues.
   
Bullet Although described as green, the color of the male Green honeycreeper changes from sea-green in bright sun to a bluish green in the shade and it is very difficult to portray the true green color in a photograph.
   
Bullet The Green honeycreeper punctures the base of a petal in order to reach the nectar. In other words, they are nectar robbers, performing no mutually beneficial function for the flower.
