Pueblo Zoo Through the Years

Book Signing & Discussion 10:30am - Noon
Free admission for Members and book purchasers.

Meet Pueblo Zoological Society’s founders, Jonnie McFarland and Marti Osborn, for a book signing and discussion.

Current Zoo Director, Abbie Krause, will facilitate an interview-style discussion to explore the fascinating history and challenges of the zoo’s storied past.

See old friends, meet new friends, and be inspired!

Admission: 1 free admission per book purchase, and you must bring your book! Any additional non-member guests will be charged full admission.

Book purchases: Books are $17.99 and will be available at the gate on the day of the book signing or you can pre-purchase your book at our gift shop Monday-Sunday from 9am - 4pm. There is no zoo admission fee to shop in the gift store!

Animal Feedings & Keeper Talks

Daily at 11am, 1:30pm, 2pm, and 3pm

  • Pioneer Ranch Contact Area Open 10am-12pm

  • Lion Keeper Talk 11am (Summer only)

  • River Otters Feeding 1:30pm

  • Dog Talk 2pm (Summer only)

• Children under the age of 13 years old must be with an adult. • Children and adults do not need to be related. • Passes do not contribute to the count for a Group Discount Rate. • Not valid for special events such as Electricritters. • A limit of five zoo passes may be checked out at once by one person. • Check out length: up to seven days. • No renewals allowed. • Holds are permitted. • No cash value • Late fines: 50¢ per day. A charge of $28 assessed for lost or damaged passes.
