Virtual programs

EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT THE PUEBLO ZOO

Virtual Education Programs bring Pueblo Zoo education animals and programs to your online curriculum and engage your students remotely.  We will do our best to accommodate all teaching and meeting platforms.

Each 30-45 minute program is $50.00.

At this time, we are offering limited programming.  Please be patient as we get our virtual footing.  

ALL SCHOOLS OR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Program descriptions

Animal Encounters (Any age/grade)

Observe small animals up close & learn all about their physical characteristics.

 

Animal Coats & Colors (First grade recommended)

Identify animals and use evidence to classify them into groups. Learn how animals are"dressed" for survival.

 

Food Chains (Second grade recommended)

Follow the movement of energy through African Savannah food chains & learn about animals' adaptations.

Wolves of the West (4th-HS recommended)

Engaging and unbiased programming will help students and their families better understand the complicated issues surrounding wolves.  Program covers wolf biology, wolf behavior, physical and social adaptations, and more!
