COVID-19 Safety precautions
Due to the increasing COVID numbers across Colorado, Pueblo County has been moved to the Level Red: Severe Risk level on the COVID-19 dial. ElectriCritters is permitted as an outdoor, unseated event with a 75 person capacity at any one time attended only with members of one household and 6 feet spacing between groups. Timed ticketing will be used to limit capacity and control crowd size. The Candy Cane Cafe and Gift Shop will be open with reduced touchpoints, increased PPE, and regulated entry and exit.
We count on the public to do their part by wearing masks, staying within their household grouping of 10 people or less, and being patient and respectful with the adaptations we have had to make.
For more information on the zoo and what we’re doing to keep you safe, please visit our COVID page.
What’s new this year?
In compliance with health and safety restrictions, there will be timed tickets with limited capacity.
Candy Cane Cafe will take orders outside.
The event entrance will be at Mandari and the exit will be at the main gate to allow for one-way flow.
The EcoCenter and Islands of Life buildings will be closed to the public.
You can now purchase tickets for Member Mondays or Discount Nights!
How do I get my tickets?
All tickets are purchased online. Visit pueblozoo.org/electricritters to purchase yours. Ticketing is timed, so please be aware of the slot you choose. Showing up late may result in forfeiture of tickets as admission is being controlled following health and safety guidelines.
Members must sign in to receive discounted tickets.
May I bring a guest to Member Mondays?
Only the named members on your membership are able to attend Member Mondays. If you would like to include additional family or friends, please select a different date for your visit.
My membership allows me to purchase additional adults, can I do this?
This is a flaw in the design of our ticketing system. As a small non-profit we use the tools we are able to afford.
Please do not purchase additional tickets beyond what is covered by your membership, even if the system is allowing you to do so. Timed ticketing is in place as an effort to maintain health and safety guidelines, one of which is having a record of participants should the Health Dept. need to contact trace a COVID case to our event.
Member discounts on tickets are applicable only for the members themselves.
We will be checking memberships at the gate with tickets, so any additional tickets purchased will not be valid if the additional adults do not have a membership.
Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes! As part of our health and safety guidelines, all guests ages 3 and up must wear a face mask.
Guests must follow all health and safety guidelines posted on grounds and communicated by staff. Thank you for doing your part to keep each other safe!
How will I know if my purchase went through?
You will receive a receipt via email with tickets attached. If you did not receive this, please contact us at email@example.com.
