BEHIND THE SCENES
Get up close and personal with some of the rarest animals on the planet in our Behind The Scenes experiences. Ages 6+.
Prices include zoo admission and 10% of every Behind the Scenes ticket goes to conservation.

Admission to the Pueblo Zoo is contingent on adherence to the rules. Pueblo Zoo may eject a guest for any reason including violation of Zoo rules, illegal activity, misconduct or failure to comply with any and all safety and security rules, laws, ordinances and measures.

Things to Know
Some animals may be absent from their exhibit at any given time due to introductions of new species, medical care, newborns, animal choice, or maintenance.
The water in the moat is drained at the end of September and refilled in mid-April.
Picnics are always welcome, we do have a seasonal café open varying hours from Spring Break through Labor Day to purchase food and beverages. Please no glass containers.
Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at The Den, after ID has been verified, only 1 drink per ID. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Be weather smart. During summer we recommend coming early, wear light clothing, use sunscreen, bug repellent and drink plenty of water.
Dress Code Policy
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Swimwear must be sufficiently covered. Offensive or provocative items on clothing or swimwear is prohibited. Costumes or disguises that conceal identity are not permitted. The Pueblo Zoo reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who refuses to comply with the dress code summarized above. If guests have any questions, please stop by guest relations.
Members of Reciprocal zoos receive
50% discounted admission. Click HERE for a list of reciprocal AZA zoos.
Visit your local Pueblo City/County Library branch to "Check out the Zoo"! This program allows you to check out zoo passes (based on availability, check with library).
Children under the age of 16 years old must be
with a parent or guardian.
Passes do not contribute to the count for a Group Discount Rate.
Not valid for special events such as Electricritters.
A limit of five zoo passes may be checked out at once by one person.
Check out length: up to seven days.
No renewals allowed.
Holds are permitted.
No cash value
Late fines: 50¢ per day. A charge of $28 assessed for lost or damaged passes.
Museums for All
If you're receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits), you can gain free or reduced admission to more than 500 museums throughout the United States, including the Pueblo Zoo, simply by presenting your EBT card.
