The Pueblo Zoo is honoring our community's senior citizens, September 13-19, 2026, by providing one week of FREE admission to all seniors 65+, caregivers/aids will also be admitted free of charge.

Monday - Friday FREE coffee & donuts (while supplies last) 
Wednesday, Sept. 16 SENIOR SAFARI - includes FREE admission, coffee & donuts, lunch, vendors, fun activities, a wild time with the animals, a dose of fresh air, music, and games! 
 

Pueblo Zoo Gift Shop:

Seniors receive a 15% discount on all items at the gift shop.

Food options:

Lunch will be served on Wednesday, Sept. 16. However, we welcome you to bring food and coolers into the zoo for Senior Week. Coolers may be held in the admin building, if desired.

RSVP:

RSVP is not required for Senior Week. Sun - Tue & Thur - Sat, please use the main zoo entrance.

Though not required, we do recommend reserving a table for Senior Safari, Wednesday, September 16th.​

• 9:15 - 9:45 AM - 30-minute Chair Yoga (You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat. Chairs are provided).

• 9:30 - 10:00 AM - Light refreshments

• 10:00 - 11:00 AM - Animal Presentations

• 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Silver Fox Scavenger Hunt

• 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Live music by Coopersonices

• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Zoo Tours (long and short)

• 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Lunch - Pizza provided by Little Caesars (Attendees are also welcome to bring a packed lunch)

• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Bison Bingo under the Mandari shelter
